Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary

Holly Hedge is an independent animal Sanctuary in Bristol that started almost 30 years ago, and proudly rescues, rehomes and rehabilitates around 800 cats, dogs and other small furries each year. The virus has had a huge impact on our Sanctuary. As people fear for their livelihoods, we are seeing an increase in people asking for help rehoming their animals, many of them are people who have needed to move in with their families so they aren't completely isolated due to the virus. It's heartbreaking, no one knows when this will end, and making the hard decision to rehome their pet is not something anyone ever thinks they will need to do.

As with the 2008 recession, we know we will feel the effects of COVID-19 for years to come. Our summer events have been cancelled, which usually bring in around £25,000 in vital funds. We've also lost the income of our charity shop, coffee machine and any supermarket collections, and many of our corporate supporters are also suffering and haven't been able to make the donations they usually make. We are so grateful to Love Louie for this incredible opportunity to partner with them to raise funds for our rescues!  

Our animals are still receiving an excellent standard of care, and we are still finding loving homes for our rescues. Our staff have been incredibly devoted throughout and we cannot thank them enough for their tireless efforts.

We have been working with Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary for a while now, supporting and judging at dog shows and supplying boxes for pets when they are rehomed. We have seen first hand the incredible work they do on a daily basis and are honoured to be able to help them raise vital funds so they can help even more animals that come into their care.
